Gaza City – July 30, 2025
At least 52 Palestinians have been killed across the Gaza Strip since dawn today, according to medical sources, as Israeli air and ground attacks intensify in multiple areas of the besieged enclave.

Among the dead are 40 civilians who were reportedly searching for food amid widespread famine conditions. Eyewitness accounts and humanitarian groups confirm that many victims were starving residents, attempting to find basic necessities in increasingly dangerous zones.

“In Gaza, women and girls are facing the impossible choice of starving to death at their shelters or venturing out in search of food and water at extreme risk of being killed,” said Sofia Calltorp, director of UN Women, in a statement highlighting the scale of the humanitarian crisis.

The death toll adds to the rising number of casualties in the conflict, which has seen relentless air raids, artillery strikes, and tightening restrictions on humanitarian access. Aid agencies continue to warn of critical shortages of food, clean water, and medical supplies, particularly in northern Gaza, where the situation is described as “catastrophic.”

International organizations have renewed calls for an immediate ceasefire, safe humanitarian corridors, and unimpeded access to deliver life-saving assistance.

The ongoing violence has left Gaza’s civilian population trapped between bombardment and starvation, with no clear end to the suffering in sight.
