London – July 31, 2025
Crystal Palace have officially informed Arsenal that the club would need to pay a total of £67.5 million to secure the services of midfielder Eberechi Eze, with £35 million required as an immediate upfront payment.
The remaining £32.5 million would be structured in instalments over the duration of the contract. The demand comes amid Arsenal’s ongoing interest in bolstering their midfield options ahead of the new Premier League season.
Eze, 26, has been a standout performer for Palace, contributing consistently with goals and assists. He is seen as a technically gifted playmaker who could offer Arsenal additional dynamism in the attacking third. While the north London club has not submitted a formal bid yet, discussions are reportedly advancing.
Palace, however, are firm in their valuation and have no immediate need to sell, especially with Eze under a long-term contract. Whether Arsenal are willing to meet the full financial package remains to be seen as the transfer window enters its final month.
