Dubai, August 2, 2025 — In a spectacular show of global sporting power and branding, the Burj Khalifa — the tallest building in the world — was illuminated on Friday night with the iconic Liverpool Football Club crest, alongside the Adidas logo and the famed initials “YNWA” (You’ll Never Walk Alone).
The light show marked the official launch of Liverpool FC’s new kit for the 2025/26 season, designed in collaboration with Adidas, who return as the club’s official kit manufacturer after more than a decade. The partnership is widely seen as a major commercial move by the club, as it strengthens its global presence — particularly in markets like the Middle East.
Thousands of spectators gathered near the Dubai Fountain as the 828-metre tower beamed vibrant red visuals, highlighting the Liverpool badge, Adidas’ three stripes, and emotional footage of fans singing the club anthem.
A club representative said the display on the Burj Khalifa was “a statement of intent about the global scale of this new era” and symbolised how far the club’s brand had travelled beyond Merseyside.
Liverpool FC’s new home and away kits — launched earlier this week — feature sleek modern designs that nod to the club’s rich heritage, now elevated by Adidas’ high-performance fabrics and global appeal. The shirts are already on sale and are expected to break merchandise records ahead of the Premier League’s kickoff.
This isn’t the first time the Burj Khalifa has been used to unveil major football partnerships, but the visual tribute to Liverpool FC’s YNWA legacy left many fans deeply moved — and underscored Dubai’s place in the ever-tightening bond between football, fashion, and fandom.
