They are closely followed by Norway (99%) and South Korea (98%), both renowned for their advanced digital economies.

European countries such as Switzerland (96%), the UK (95%), Spain (94%), Austria (93%), and Finland (93%) maintain high connectivity rates, reflecting widespread internet access across the continent. Canada and New Zealand also report impressive figures at 92%.

Major economies like the United States (91%), Germany (91%), Australia (90%), and Japan (90%) show strong internet adoption, aligning with their technological advancement.

Emerging markets present a varied picture: Malaysia leads with 97%, while Argentina (87%), Brazil (81%), and Turkey (81%) show solid internet usage rates. China stands at 73%, reflecting its vast population and ongoing infrastructure expansion.

At the lower end, countries including India (43%), Nigeria (36%), Pakistan (25%), and Bangladesh (25%) reveal significant room for growth in digital inclusion.

This data from the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) highlights the ongoing global digital divide, underscoring the need for increased investment to broaden internet access in developing regions.
